Rahu Ketu Dosh

Rahu Ketu Dosh is formed in Vedic astrology when Rahu and Ketu are placed in challenging houses or are strongly afflicting important planets like Sun, Moon, or Lagna in the birth chart.

Rahu represents illusion, material desires, obsession, and sudden events, while Ketu represents detachment, spirituality, confusion, and past-life karmas. When negatively placed, they may create instability, mental stress, sudden ups and downs, career obstacles, or relationship issues.

However, their effects depend on the overall horoscope. In many cases, Rahu gives worldly success and foreign connections, while Ketu gives spiritual growth and inner wisdom.
