Santati Dosh

Santati Dosh in Vedic astrology refers to planetary afflictions related to childbirth and progeny in a birth chart. It is usually analyzed through the 5th house (house of children), its lord, and the placement of Brihaspati (Jupiter), which signifies children and blessings.

If the 5th house, its lord, or Jupiter is weak or afflicted by malefic planets like Rahu, Ketu, or Shani, it may cause delay in childbirth, difficulties in conceiving, or concerns related to children.
